Install Kids Shield on your child's Windows computer. Compatible with Windows 8, 8.1 and 10. Follow each step carefully.

Step 1 — Prerequisites

Compatible Windows versions:

Windows 10
Windows 8.1 (32-bit and 64-bit)
Windows 8 (32-bit and 64-bit)
Unlimited data plan recommended

Step 2 — Install Kids Shield on Windows

Download and run the Kids Shield Installer:

Run the installer file
Follow the on-screen instructions

Step 2.2 — Post Installation: Windows Defender Exclusion

Open Windows Defender Security Center
Go to Virus & threat protection → Virus & threat protection settings
Click Add or remove exclusions → Add an exclusion → Folder
Enter path: C:\ProgramData\BE

Step 3 — Email Verification

Check your email inbox for the Kids Shield verification message
Click the verification link to activate your account

How to Uninstall Kids Shield on Windows

Option 1:

Press Ctrl + Alt + B
Enter your password
Go to the System tab and click Uninstall

Option 2:

Go to C:\ProgramData\BE
Run uninstall.bat

Option 3:

Download the latest installer
Upgrade the application
Right-click the MSI file and select Uninstall
